We’re a small charity with a big collection, and an even bigger story to tell.

The Royal Artillery Museum holds one of the oldest and most significant military collections in the UK. It tells the story of artillery from medieval cannon to guided missiles and everything in between, as well as three centuries of the Royal Artillery and its men and women.

Following the closure of our museum in Woolwich, we are currently operating from interim premises while we develop a new museum close to the home of the Gunners at Larkhill. While we are not currently able to open to the public every day, we offer a range of group visits and public open days - find out more here.

In the meantime our team continues to care for and develop the collection. You can read more about our history, our team and our future plans below.
